DAVID WAINE

David Waine was Chair of the Board of Trustees for Change of Scene. He sadly passed away on Wednesday 4th August following a period of illness.

David was a dedicated and valued member of the Board at CoS. He brought with him a wealth of experience working with children and young people and managing services which he put to good use. Both David and his family were incredibly generous with their time and commitment.

David joined CoS in 2017 and took on the role of Chair in 2019, at a time of great change for the charity. It was a brave and onerous decision but his belief in us, our vision and our mission to grow our services never waivered.

David approached his role as Chair of Trustees with responsibility, fairness and good humour. He was able to make strategic decisions, lead the Board and staff team and still fit in an alpaca joke or two.

David will be missed by us all. A kind and generous man.
