OUR WORK

Learning outside, changing inside

Research shows excluded children are the most vulnerable: twice as likely to be in the care of the state, four times more likely to have grown up in poverty, seven times more likely to have a special educational need and 10 times more likely to suffer recognised mental health problems.
At Change of Scene we work with young people who struggle to cope in a school environment. Working 1-2-1 with a key worker, learning to care for our c.16 species of animals helps them gain the skills and confidence necessary to return to sustainable education and break the cycle of exclusion.
