In a dramatic turn of events, Change of Scene has lost the land earmarked for our move. We now have 3 months to save the charity.

As most of you know, we have been looking for a new site for Change of Scene for the last four years. Last year, we thought we'd found a suitable premises in West Sussex. We applied for planning permission and were about to sign a long lease with an option to buy when we were told about some restrictive covenants on the land. With that news, our plans turned to dust.

We now have until Easter 2025 to find our new home - if we cannot, the charity will have no choice but to close. We will have a year to make sure the children have somewhere else to go, rehome the animals and make staff redundant. Change of Scene will shut in June 2026. 

To make sure that doesn't happen, we have 3 months to raise enough money to purchase a new site. This is a tough ask, but we want to give it our best shot.  We'd be grateful for anything you can do to help. A few ideas are:

2 - Share the link to our Crowdfunding page with everyone you know and ask them to support us

3 - Fundraise for us - maybe you could do a sponsored event or a bake sale. 

We will do everything we can to make sure Change of Scene continues not only for your young people but for all those needing help who come after them.
